We provide three methods for you to share your voice message with your internet audience. Badges, Widgets, and Anonymous Online Message Boxes.
Badges are completely customizable, allowing you to use any image available on the web as your badge background. It can be a picture of you, your company logo, or your grandmother. You can also add your own text, telling them you have a new message, you have exciting news, or you're having a special today on latex paint.
Badges are best for people who want to share information that has a "shelf life". Information that is only valid for a window in time, and after that, becomes of no use, is perfect for Badges since you can expire a message and make it disappear.
A Badge only allows somebody to listen to the latest message. Additionally, messages can be expired after some time period (1-999 Hours), or can be set to expire at a certain time of day.
Own a restaurant? Tell your customers what your specials are every day, and expire the message at closing time, so it doesn't confuse anybody who visits your site before you leave your message for the next day.
Widgets are best for people who want a record of all of their messages to be available. Use a widget if the type of information you share never goes stale. Your impressions when seeing Niagra Falls for the first time will always be interesting.
A widget shows all of the messages you haven't deleted yet, with the most recent messages at the top. It's useful to use as a voice blog, where you want people to be able to listen to not only your most recent message, but your older messages as well.
Going on vacation? Put a widget up on your blog so your friends and family can share your adventures with you as you experience them, rather than waiting for the slide show when you get back.
An Online Message Box is for people that don't own a website, but still need to communicate to a bunch of people online. People using Craigslist and eBay, for example, can update people on the status of their auctions/job offers/for sale items, just by leaving a message from their cell phone and putting the address of their online message box in their auction description or ad posting.
